Summary:
Confluent Kafka Developers work in operationalized Confluent Kafka components (zookeepers, brokers, Control Center, Rest proxies, Connect, and replicators) in a multi data center (on-premise and public cloud) environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Evolve and optimize enterprise-grade Kafka topologies as organizational utilization grows.
- Address performance and scalability challenges posed by new or changing Kafka producers and consumers.
- Implement solutions to monitor Kafka components to proactively address any Kafka messaging issues.
- Develop Kafka Sink and Source Connectors for various Cloud and on-prem Technologies.
Core Skills:
- Good Communication Skills
- Good working experience in core Java
- Total 6+ experience in IT Industry
- Minimum 3 year experience Apache Kafka
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Confluent Kafka environment
- Kafka Connect development experience will be a plus
- Experience with Confluent Hub, Confluent Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructure, Clustering etc.
- Confluent Certification is a plus.
